We’re proud to be hosting a Southern Bluefin Tuna Pre-Season Seminar right here at the Tairua Pauanui Sports Fishing Club – and we’d love to see you there.

This free event is part of a nationwide initiative by New Zealand Sport Fishing Council Inc and Coastguard New Zealand to help anglers prepare for the season ahead and, most importantly, make it home safe.

We’ll be covering a large range of things from boat & gear set up to techniques, fishing around commercial fleets and much much more!

Food will be available on the night and the bar will be open – it’s a casual, informative evening and everyone is welcome.

To our mates at Matarangi Boat and Fishing Club, Mercury Bay Game Fishing Club, Whangamata Ocean Sports Club, Crafty Fishing Club, and Whangaparaoa Fishing Club we’d love to see some of your crew there too. Come join us for a great night of knowledge-sharing and tuna talk.
