Despite rough weather conditions, the 30th Anniversary Daiwa Land Base Fishing Competition was a great success. Congratulations to all the anglers who participated, you did an amazing job.

We're thrilled to announce that Tairua took out the Orange Roughy Cup but we are sure North Shore will be hot on our heels next year!

Additionally, a special shoutout to Matt Picket who was crowned the overall 30th Anniversary Champion Angler. Well done, Matt!

We would also like to take a moment to thank our sponsors, Daiwa New Zealand, Dutchy's, Basins Environmental, Ray & Sue McIntyre, Julie Elliot & Jim Van de Water & Brad Turner for their generous support. Without their contributions, this event wouldn't have been possible.

Thank you again to all who participated, and we hope to see you again next year for another exciting competition.
